Silicone Expo explores the latest advancements in silicone technology and applications and is known for bridging ideas, materials and possibilities for the silicone industry. Cambodia exported 368,048 tons of latex in 2023, a decrease of 4,855 tons from 2022’s figure, and 9,411 cubic meters of rubber timber, 17,078 less than the previous year. The country’s domestic latex use amounted to 30,452 tons.

Davis-Standard, LLC announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Extrusion Technology Group (“ETG”).

Cooper Standard formally announces its partnership with NIKE, Inc., including a new expansion of its technology licensing agreement. Based on the initial long-term agreement reached in 2021 to license Cooper Standard’s Fortrex™ material platform for footwear applications, the new agreement provides NIKE with limited exclusivity to use the Fortrex material for footwear and allows them to develop new applications for use in additional product lines.

Dow announced it received International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification at its PO/PG and Polyols manufacturing site in Freeport, Texas. An ISCC PLUS certification recognizes Dow’s implementation of decoupling fossil feedstocks by using waste sourced feedstock, following a full independent, external audit.
