Both Yokohama Tire and Robin Shute continued their supremacy at the 101st Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Shute helped the tiremaker claim its second straight overall title (and third in the last four years), piloting his 2018 Wolf GB08 TSC-FS fitted with specially produced Yokohama ADVAN® tires – made with increased usage of sustainable materials – to a winning time of 8:40.080 in the Unlimited division. As they did last year, Yokohama drivers dominated, tallying five division wins, 10 podium finishes and five of the top 10 overall finishers in the 12.42.-mile legendary “Race to the Clouds” at Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The report details how by integrating sustainability throughout its business, the company is helping to create value for its internal and external stakeholders. The report also highlights the progress Goodyear is making toward achieving its short- and long-term sustainability goals.

ridgestone Americas (Bridgestone) and Pilot Company (Pilot) announced they have created a service network for commercial fleets to use Bridgestone’s advanced tire monitoring technology at more than 300 Pilot and Flying J travel centers, exceeding initial goals set for the partnership one year ago. Pilot’s extensive network of travel centers coupled with Bridgestone Fleet Care mobility solutions allows the two companies to provide more convenient, frequent and accessible fleet tire intelligence to as many customers as possible.

Kapil Suri has been appointed as a sales agent for Rubber World in India. Suri has represented VMN Media, a prominent publisher based in the Netherlands, for 23 years. He is currently a representative for Bike Europe in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Thailand.

Titan International, Inc. (Titan) to partner with Big Equipment Company in bringing a new 2023 model Big Bud 700 to the Titan booth #933 at Farm Progress 2023 in Decatur, Illinois. Additionally, Titan will be showcasing the latest tire technologies, doing daily giveaways, raising funds for Indiana/Illinois FFA, and hosting meet-and-greets with influential farming personalities including the Welkers, Brian Brown of Brian’s Farming videos, Cole the Cornstar, and Farm Fit Momma.

Acrylated products are the coating industry’s first choice for minimizing migration and obtaining very pronounced, long- lasting effects. TEGO® Rad 2550 is just one of the latest products in Evonik’s TEGO® Rad portfolio of silicone acrylates that offer formulators a complete toolbox of solutions to ensure top performance in paints and coatings. These additives for radiation- curing inks and coatings can improve the flow and leveling and optical appearance, prevent cratering, and allow formulators to create products with the desired level of slip and flow. Choosing TEGO® Rad products with a higher or lower number will result in a different level of slip and compatibility, giving customers more precision in their formulations.

Ford Motor Company, the Ford Fund and Team Rubicon announce Team Rubicon Powered by Ford, a new disaster relief initiative that will serve the growing number of communities across the United States that are impacted by hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and wildfires. According to studies, 90% of U.S. counties experienced a federal climate disaster between 2011-2021.1 Ford’s investment – which includes a fleet of vehicles, a $2.5 million philanthropic donation, and a commitment to deploying employee volunteers – greatly expands Team Rubicon’s ability to provide no-cost services to vulnerable communities in the wake of these disasters and crises.
