Harwick promotes Buchanan and Potirakis

Monica Buchanan was promoted to Sales, Marketing and Technical Senior Administrator at Harwick Standard Distribution. Harwick President and CEO Ernie Pouttu says Buchanan՚s new title reflects the key areas she handles for Harwick, and the support she provides for these most important aspects of the business.
Helen Potirakis is now a Senior Product Manager for Harwick, handling key suppliers to the company, and taking on additional suppliers.
Pouttu expressed his appreciation to Andreana Gonzalez for her “willingness and enthusiasm on taking on some supplier responsibilities.” Pouttu additionally thanked Cris Welch, Bryan Shields, Mike McCarty and Chuck Bonawitz for their increased roles with the Harwick supplier base.

Yokohama Rubber holds 9th panel discussion on biodiversity

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that on March 27 it held its 9th Panel Discussion on Biodiversity as an online event. Continental sells plant in Russia

Continental has sold its plant in Kaluga, Russia, to Russian company S8 Capital. With this step, Continental has divested the majority of its activities in Russia as part of its announced controlled withdrawal from the Russian market – a decision taken by the technology company in response to the war against Ukraine. The transaction has been approved by the relevant authorities.
