Now, just in time for the start of the Tire Technology Expo trade fair which takes place in Hanover from March 21 to 23, 2023, the company is revealing what lies behind these many partnerships. Under the umbrella of the newly founded “Zeppelin Sustainable Tire Alliance”, Zeppelin Systems together with its international partners is striving to shape a sustainable future for the tire industry and make even better use of existing potential. Polish company ReOil came on board as a new partner on March 13, 2023.

Wacker reports record sales for 2022

Wacker Chemie AG ended 2022 with new all-time highs for sales and earnings. Presenting its annual report, the Munich-based chemical company confirmed Group sales of €8.21 billion in 2022 (2021: €6.21 billion), up 32 percent year over year. Substantially higher selling prices were the main growth driver. Sales also benefited from positive exchange-rate effects due to the stronger US dollar. On the other hand, overall volumes were down somewhat versus the previous year, dampening sales.
