All India Rubber Industries Association is one of the premier industries Association in India, established in 1945. The Association looks after the interest of the Indian Rubber Industry in both auto tyres and non-tyres sectors, covering products, raw materials and machinery. The Association has around 1300 members affiliated to it spread all over the country. The Association has its central office at Mumbai with four regional offices at New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai and a Chapter office at Pune and Gujarat.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company announced the appointment of Christina Zamarro to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, reporting to Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President Richard J. Kramer.
In this role, Zamarro will lead Goodyear’s Global Finance organization and oversee all aspects of the company’s corporate finances, including Treasury, Investor Relations, Accounting, Audit and Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as its business unit Finance teams in the Americas; Asia Pacific; and Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Oil company Tatneft has applied to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) for approval to acquire a number of Russian subsidiaries of Finland’s Nokian Tyres, the regulator told Interfax.

Continental and Security Matters (SMX), an innovative tech platform specializing in digital tracking using unalterable chemical-based barcodes, have succeeded for the first time in verifying beyond doubt a marker substance for natural rubber in a tire, and thus throughout the entire production process. The dedicated marker technology, which both companies optimized for use in natural rubber, is designed to create greater transparency along the entire value chain of tires and technical rubber products from Continental. Provided with special security features, the use of the marker substances enables the invisible marking of natural rubber with information on its geographical origin. This means, for example, that responsibly sourced natural rubber and its origin can be verified at every stage of the supply chain all the way to the customer. By doing so, Continental is further strengthening its pioneering role in its commitment to greater transparency along its supply chain. By 2050 at the latest, all materials that Continental uses in its tire production will originate from responsible sources.

As the new Senior Vice President Global Sales (Injection Molding, Extrusion, Reaction Process Machinery, Automation and Additive Manufacturing), Bob Martin will also be responsible – in addition to the global strategic orientation of sales – for operational responsibility for the global sales of the KraussMaffei Group. Bob Martin, who is from the US, will report to Xiaojun Cui and will based at the KraussMaffei location in Florence, Kentucky. His responsibilities include EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and China along with North America.
