Malaysia’s natural rubber (NR) production decreased by 6.3% to 21,073 tons in May 2022 compared with 22,498 tons in April, said the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM).

DuPont announced it has committed to setting science-based targets to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a partnership between CDP, the UN Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). As part of its commitment, DuPont plans to work closely with SBTi to determine GHG emissions reduction targets for Scope 1 and 2 emissions aligned with the Paris agreement which sets the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C.
