Continental has been awarded preferred tire partner status by Mercedes-Benz in China, Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This is valid from now until August 2025. The existing partnership in India has been extended until August 2024. As a preferred tire partner, Continental will have access to central ordering and sales tools linking to the Mercedes-Benz network as well as to a direct online platform for order processing

Continental is introducing to its truck tire portfolio new 19.5” rim size drive and steer tires developed with the needs of class 4 and 5 vehicles in mind.
These tires were specifically developed to fit the needs of class 4 and 5 vehicles and meet the needs of different vocations. Class 4 and 5 vehicles made up 2.5 million of the commercial vehicle registration in 2022 and handle up to 14,0001 lbs. – 19,500 lbs.

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that it will participate in the Japan Mobility Show 2023, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto-ku, Tokyo, from October 26 through November 5 (open to the general public from October 28). Under the theme “YOKOHAMA: Creating the Tires of the Future,” the YOKOHAMA booth will introduce EV-compatible technologies and sustainable technologies, as well as other advanced technologies currently under development.
