Effective January 1, 2023, Markus Richter (49) took charge of WACKER’s Corporate Communications department. Holding a degree in engineering management and a doctorate in business administration, he succeeds Jörg Hettmann, who will be providing him with advice until the end of February and retiring on March 1, 2023. Markus Richter joins WACKER from Hella, an automotive supplier, where he was head of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations. In this role, he was responsible for Hella’s global external and internal communications activities.

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies announced that F. Joseph (Joe) Walker, Director of Materials and Laboratories at the company’s North American headquarters in Plymouth, Mich., has elected to retire from the company on March 30 after 24 years of distinguished service in materials science.
