e Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company said it will participate in a fireside chat during Deutsche Bank’s Global Auto Industry Conference on June 14, 2022, at 10:15 a.m. EDT.
Emmanuel Rosner, lead autos & auto technology analyst at Deutsche Bank, will host Darren R. Wells, executive vice president and chief financial officer, in a fireside chat. – Bridgestone Retail Operations (Bridgestone), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas, launched a two-week fundraising competition with NFL players from Tight End University (TEU) in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The campaign is the latest activation in the Bridgestone Driving Great Futures partnership, which has raised more than $20 million to support Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide since the program’s inception in 2015.

Continental has developed a brand-new premium surface material: Benova Eco Protect. Its advantages: It makes vehicle interiors more sustainable, durable, and comfortable at the same time. The surface material is currently being manufactured in Germany. Further production capacities will be made available at Continental’s American plant in Winchester, Virginia.

“The A055 is a max-grip, flat-out fast tire,” said Drew Dayton, Yokohama’s senior product planning manager, consumer tires. “It is purpose built for on-track racing with impressively fast lap times and continues Yokohama’s decades-long legacy of UHP and motorsports tires.”

International TPE compounder HEXPOL TPE has added to their growing portfolio of Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) materials containing recycled content. The new Dryflex Circular MWR TPEs contain recyclate coming from post-use maritime ropes.For the MWR raw materials, HEXPOL TPE is working with PLASTIX A/S, a Danish plastic recycling company specialising in sorting and recycling plastic fibre waste from the maritime industry. They convert used fishnets, trawls and ropes that would previously have ended up in the ocean or on landfill into high-grade and virgin-like raw material.

– The world’s largest tire companies, via the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA), thanked the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA) for reaffirming its commitment to helping promote vehicle tire safety as a core public welfare priority. As it has for the past three years, the NLGA underscored its support of the USTMA’s annual National Tire Safety Week initiative by issuing a resolution urging American motorists to include regular tire inspections as an integral element of their household routines.
