Continental has designed the EcoContact 6 Q tire for particularly energy-saving and low-noise driving. Electric vehicles such as the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric benefit from this in particular.

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. announces a size expansion for its Toyo® M655TM Power Line offering to include new 22.5- and 24.5-inch medium truck drive tire sizes. This further broadens Toyo Tire’s M655 commercial tire application that currently includes both a 19.5-inch medium truck size suitable for drive and steer applications, and 17- and 18-inch sizes for light truck applications. Yokohama Rubber filed an administrative complaint and submitted information to the Municipal Administration for Market Regulation in Anlu City, Hubei Province, China, regarding a local company engaged in the manufacture of counterfeit “ADVAN Racing” aluminum wheels for sports cars. Acting on the complaint and information provided by Yokohama Rubber, the Anlu authorities conducted a search at the accused company in November 2024 and seized all the counterfeit wheels found at the site.

Evonik and Gas Malaysia recently signed a Memorandum of Collaboration, focusing on upgrading biogas into biomethane, positioning Malaysia as a leader in sustainable energy.
