The partnership aims to enhance the BaT user experience and provide product education and application expertise, brand engagement opportunities and charitable promotions across the companies’ communities of passionate automotive enthusiasts.

Mars Mineral has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with South Korean-based LD Carbon to develop and install Mars’ pin mixer technology at LD Carbon’s newest pyrolysis and recovered carbon black (rCB) facility, which will be the largest of its kind in Asia.
LD Carbon is a material industry company that supplies its Green Carbon Black, an eco-friendly rCB made from waste tires that have been pyrolyzed, refined, and processed for reuse by tire and rubber manufacturers. LD Carbon also reclaims pyrolysis oil from the process that is used for replacing crude oil and raw material of petrochemical products.

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that it is supplying its ADVAN V61 tires to Lexus for use as original equipment (OE) tires on the new RZ, the Lexus brand’s first dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV), which was launched in Japan and other countries, including in Europe and Asia, from this March. The RZ is being fitted with 235/60R18 103H front tires and 255/55R18 105V rear tires

Kuraray has a new distribution partner for MOWITAL® in North America. From July 1, 2023, Gehring-Montgomery, Inc. will include Kuraray’s range of MOWITAL® polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resins in its portfolio of resins and chemicals for the North American market. Gehring-Montgomery is the US subsidiary of the TER Group, a global distributor of fine and speciality chemicals headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. The distribution agreement with Gehring-Montgomery will increase the global reach of the versatile and successful PVB resins offered by European market leader Kuraray, particularly for printing inks, adhesives, paints and coatings for the US market.
