Brian Swanton Named Director, Process Engineering for NovationSi

Novation Solutions, LLC (NovationSi), the manufacturing subsidiary for R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott), has named Brian Swanton as Director of Process Engineering. Swanton holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technology University and has over 28 years of silicone experience, including extensive service with Dow and Dupont. Swanton holds multiple patents and has developed or scaled up at least forty products, which now represent a minimum of $100M in annual sales.

PBC Linear (Pacific Bearing Company) announcef that its Applied Cobotics Cobot Feeder, a CNC machine feeding application kit which delivers and stages parts to be placed into a machining process, has received Universal Robots+ (UR+) partner certification from Universal Robots (UR).
PBC Linear’s Applied Cobotics Cobot Feeder includes a base storage and retrieval unit with a UR cobot pedestal, an enclosed steel rack dunnage tower with a 17-tray capacity that safely stores up to 50 pounds of material, an HMI touch screen display for easy lift control, Ethernet IP, Modbus, and standard UR cobot communications.

Teknor Apex acquires the business of Nu-Pro Polymers

Teknor Apex is announcing that it acquired the business of Nu-Pro Polymers, Inc (Wheeling, IL) late last year. Nu-Pro works with clean post-industrial (PIR) streams and converts them into new PVC compounds which perform equivalently to prime compounds. Nu-Pro specializes in clear, natural and black reprocessed compounds in a range of durometers. Under the acquisition, Nu-Pro will continue to produce products for Teknor Apex at this time, under the Cycle-Tek brand as a subsidiary of Teknor Apex.

Apollo Tyre reports revenue up 17 percent for FY23

The Board of Directors of Apollo Tyres approved the company’s audited financial results for the fourth quarter (Jan to Mar) and the financial year 2022 – 23. The Board recommended a dividend payout of Rs 4.00 per equity share, and a special dividend of Rs 0.50 per equity share, aggregating to Rs 4.50 (450%), on face value of Re 1 each for FY23, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
