Danquinsa and Lubrizol to highlight high-performing polymers at Fakuma Trade Show
Cleveland, OH – Lubrizol Engineered Polymers has announced that Danquinsa GmbH, its sales representative in Germany, will be displaying Lubrizol’s specialty thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) at Fakuma fair. Fakuma is taking place from October 17 to 21 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. New developments belonging to the color stable and weather resistant ESTANE® TPU portfolio will be featured at the booth. Backed by more than 30 years of experience in surface protection applications, ESTANE TPU provides exceptional performance with transparency after long-term exposure to the elements, such as UV light, moisture, physical wear, chemicals and more. ESTANE polymers help protect and maintain aesthetics in demanding surface applications for automotive, consumer products, building and construction, and graphics. ESTANE material can also be recycled due to its thermoplastic behavior.
The most recent developments from Lubrizol Engineered Polymers include:
ESTANE TPU for synthetic leather: a specialty elastomer for car seats
ESTANE SILK 91T70 TPU for silky touch and color stability in demanding
applications like mobile phone cases
And expanding Lubrizol portfolio for long-lasting outdoor solutions, including ESTANE ALR
series for PPF and graphics, new color stable grades are:
ESTANE 91F88 grade for surface protection applications like flooring
ESTANE ALR MC-93A-VE TPU for melt coating process providing exceptional
hydrolytic and UV stability.
“ESTANE ALR MC-93A-VE TPU was recently launched and is one of its kind designed to
outperform other materials in abrasion and extreme weather endurance for melt coating
end applications that need to maintain initial clear or bright colors, and withstand harsh
conditions, like tents or inflatables.” Says Dr. Romina Marin, Global Business Manager
Surface Protection for Lubrizol Engineered Polymers.
“We are particularly pleased to highlight at Fakuma 2023 the great new developments
from Lubrizol Engineered Polymers in the field of aliphatic TPUs and sustainable solutions.
Danquinsa appreciates not only the continuous innovations, but also the high-quality,
proven TPUs for injection molding, extrusion, melt coating and of solvent-based
adhesives,” says Dr. Alexander Daniel, Engineering Manager of Danquinsa GmbH. Daniel
adds “The broad product portfolio, great expertise and customer-oriented application
technology is the backbone for long-term partnerships, also at this year’s Fakuma.”
