Denka announce price increase for Denka chloroprene

Tokyo, Japan – Denka Company Limited announces a price revision for chloroprene rubber, which is offered under the brand name of “Denka Chloroprene” due to cost increase in production and current supply and demand balance. The price increase is more than USD500 or EUR450 per metric ton effective from January 4th, 2022.
“We are facing difficulty of continuous and huge cost increase in our production such as raw materials and utility. Our effort alone cannot absorb all the increasing costs although we are making the best effort to minimize it.” the company said in a press release.
