Elastomers World Summits 2023 set to feature leading industry experts
The “home” of the global elastomers industry will take place on 28-29 November in Amsterdam
Both Thermoplastic Elastomers and Silicone Elastomers World Summit bring together manufacturers, processors, end-users, designers and researchers for a summit-style technical discussion of silicone and TPE elastomer materials, global markets, processing advancements and novel applications. Taking place on 28-29th November 2023, these co-located events will provide exclusive insights on the market.
Silicone Elastomers World Summit:
With speakers from distinguished companies like EDF, Honeywell Aerospace, Dow Silicones, Turtle Petals, Dow Silicones and more, the agenda is bursting with insights to help shape this year’s summit to be the best one to date.
The 2023 conference will have a significant focus on innovation. Exploring new technologies and insights from thermal management solutions in automotive to material challenges in Aerospace. We shall also be exploring the EU regulatory landscape and how these are impacting current and future applications. You will also have the chance to hear from research centres of excellence and discover the latest technology and processing developments.
Presentations include:
- Market overview and future trends
- Regulatory updates how these impact applications
- 2K parts in LSR
- Automotive thermal management challenges and solutions (Joint session)
- Material challenges and solutions
- Technology developments and applications
- New developments in processing
TPE:
Companies presenting at TPE include Renault Group, Biovox, Decathlon, Innventik, Momentive Performance Materials and Avient.
The TPE industry is going through a transition due to raw material availability/ price increases. The transition puts a focus on reviewing TPE life cycles and reducing the amount of waste produced. The two largest areas of interest are still the automotive and medical sectors. In terms of innovation, we are seeing growing developments across mobility and electric vehicles. There is also the growth of new applications and need for new materials to withstand higher temperatures, 800v, in the car market and the energy market. Cabling companies are looking at materials that can withstand higher temperatures and are looking at these materials. Innovations in the biopharma and healthcare industries will focus on sustainability and materials.
Presentations will include:
- The future of TPE recycling and reducing your carbon impact
- Material and application update
- Automotive thermal management challenges and solutions (Joint session)
- Innovations for healthcare and biopharma industry
- Latest TPE technology and processing updates
Previous attendees include DOW, LEGO, VenAir, Dupont, Wacker, Mitsui Chemicals, Trelleborg, Kuraray, Greenfish, Ergon, Elkem, Cold jet, ReNeuvo, Milliken Europe plus more!
Tickets starting at just €1,349 +VAT for full access to both events.
Masterclass – Introducing silicone elastomers and their uses
This year’s event also includes a pre-conference masterclass, introducing silicone elastomers and their uses which you can attend for just €349.
The silicone elastomers masterclass is designed to help delegates gain insights and a general overview ahead of the main conference.
