2035 Polyurethanes Technical Conference

The conference, hosted by the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), will feature new educational sessions and other premier networking opportunities for attendees.   CPI’s leading Professional Development Program (PDP) will offer two new virtual courses – “Bio-Based Raw Materials Course” and “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance and Practical Use in Chemistry.” The bio-based course will cover the evolution of polymers and the history of polyurethanes, exploring the shift from synthetic to natural raw materials, and feature discussions on their innovative chemistry and formulation techniques. The AI course will discuss its practical applications in polyurethane production, including ethical considerations, regulatory frameworks, and hands-on AI tool usage for optimizing formulations.In addition, a brand-new event for this year will be the “Women in Polyurethanes” luncheon on the conference’s second day. The limited-capacity event will feature women leaders in the polyurethanes industry discussing their career journeys, challenges, and successes.
