Harwick Standard promotes two employees to vice president

Akron, OH – Ernest Pouttu, President and CEO of Harwick Standard announced the following promotions effective April 1, 2024.

William M. Knezevich has been named Vice President Marketing. Primarily responsible for Principal and product line development and relationships, he also manages principal, pricing and advertising. Beginning his career with Harwick in 1990, William became Director of Marketing in 2023. Prior to that, William was an Account Executive for Harwick responsible for sales in the Akron Sales Territory. William is a member of the American Chemical Society / Rubber Division, the Ohio Rubber Group, and the Mid Atlantic Rubber and Plastics Group. William attended the University of Akron’s Polymer Technology Program.

Rodney L. Crowell has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. Rodney began his career at Harwick Standard in 2002, becoming Director of Sales in 2023. Prior to that, Rodney was an Account Executive for Harwick responsible for sales in the Southern Sales Territory. Prior to joining Harwick, Rodney worked for PPG Industries as a Regional Sales Manager / Architectural Coatings and then as a Senior Account Executive / Lowes Team. Rodney is a member and has served Chairman of the Southern Rubber Group. He is also a member of the American Chemical Society / Rubber Division. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
