Hercules introduces their next generation of Ironman commercial truck tires

Huntersville, NC – Hercules Tire and Rubber Company (HTR introduced the next generation of commercial truck tires, the Ironman I-Series Gen 2. These innovative tires are set to redefine the industry standards of value, offering improved performance, durability and cost-efficiency for fleets and owner-operators across the nation.  
 
Building on the legacy of the highly successful Ironman I-Series Medium Truck line, the I-Series Gen 2 introduces improved compounds and technologies, upgraded nationwide warranty and enhanced application specific tread patterns.

The new models will roll out in two phases, with the remaining four models slotted to launch mid-2024. The four models available immediately include: 
 
Ironman Gen 2 I-19A All-Positions M+S 
A robust all-position tire designed to minimize downtime for on-time commitments. 
Offers improved fuel efficiency and a remarkable 15% longer treadwear compared to its predecessor. Ideal for high-scrub, stop-and-go regional and local routes. 
Available in 12 sizes.  
 
Ironman Gen 2 I-37D Open Shoulder Drive Regional/Urban M+S 
Engineered for superior traction and extended tread in high scrub regional and local routes. 
Features a curb guard, wider tread width and enhanced durable compound to withstand the typical abuses found in delivery and utility applications. 
Available in six sizes. 
 
Ironman Gen 2 I-48T Long Haul Trailer 
Designed to go the long haul, both in performance and in tire life. 
Offers 10% better rolling resistance compared to its predecessor, maximizing retreadability. 
Available in four sizes.  
 
Ironman Gen 2 I-61S Long Haul Steer 
Specifically designed for fleets and owner-operators, offering comfort and peace of mind on long hauls. 
Features optimized tread depth combined with a new fuel-efficient compound. 
Offers 5% lower rolling resistance and 15% more mileage than its predecessor. 
Available in four sizes. 
 
The I-Series Gen 2 line allows customers to drive with peace of mind, offering a 72-month Limited Protection Policy, casing allowance for 2 retreads and free replacement options during the first 50% of tread life.
