Humberto Ibáñez Named Sr. Account Manager for R.D. Abbott de México
Garden Grove, CA – R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott) has hired Humberto Ibáñez as Senior Account Manager for R.D. Abbott de México. Ibáñez joined RDAbbott’s México subsidiary on June 6, 2023, and is responsible for developing business relationships, fostering sales growth, and providing technical support to customers in México. Ibáñez brings strong technical sales skills to his new role and has many years of experience selling Cancarb Limited’s Thermax® brand medium thermal carbon blacks. On June 25, 2023, R.D. Abbott de México became the exclusive distributor of Thermax® products in México.

Ibáñez has worked in the chemicals industry for 23 years. Through the course of his career, he has helped to commercialize the following products: specialties in silicone products, rubber processing aids, desiccants, anti-adherents, functional mineral fillers, thermal and furnace carbon blacks, foaming agents, mold release agents, fatty amides, metallic stearates, emulsifiers for metalworking, dispersants, defoamers, surfactants, additives for lubricants, corrosion inhibitors, and demulsifiers.
Before joining RDAbbott, Ibáñez sold Thermax® medium thermal carbon blacks, silicone rubber, plastics, lubricants, and other products during his 12 years of service with Negociaciones Internacionales Lema. Ibáñez has also worked as a Technician Analyst and R&D Technician for NCH, which manufactures and markets specialty chemicals. Ibáñez has degrees in Industrial Engineering and Chemical Engineering from Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Cuautitlán.
