Kemai Chemical’s TMQ awarded
Tianjin, China – Kemai Chemical celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Kemai’s antioxidant, TMQ, recently won the champion award in the Sixth Batch of Individual Champions of China’s Manufacturing Industry, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT). TMQ is the only award winning product in China’s rubber chemical industry. In January, Kemai was recognized as a National Green Factory and a National Green Supply Chain Demonstration Enterprise by MIIT.
MIIT selects the National Manufacturing Individual Champions to encourage Chinese manufacturers to focus on technical innovation and quality improvement. The government cultivates world class manufacturers with subdivided products in the global market.
Kemai has specialized in rubber additives for 20 years. It is said to be the world’s leading manufacturer of the TMQ antioxidant, with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons. Kemai developed the high content TMQ, making up for an antioxidant production gap in China. Because of its high active ingredients content and excellent heat and oxygen aging resistance, TMQ is said to have won wide recognition from global tire and rubber companies.
Kemai has formed three production bases in China, including Kemai Tianjin, Kemai Inner Mongolia and Kemai Jiangsu, which produce the rubber accelerators MBT, MBTS, CBS and DPG, and the antioxidant TMQ. Kemai is one of the largest rubber chemical makers in China. Construction of the Kemai Hebei factory has been completed, and on this 20th anniversary, multiple production lines that enrich the firm’s product chains will be put into production.
For 20 years, Kemai never stopped advancing in the international market. In order to meet increasing demand from international customers and provide point-to-point service, Kemai has successively established Kemai America, Kemai Germany and Kemai Brazil. In the past two years, due to the impact of COVID-19, overseas shipments have been severely affected by cargo space shortages and skyrocketing costs. Kemai’s overseas companies have relied on their own warehouses and local advantages to provide timely and efficient services for local customers, meeting demand.
Kemai plans to continue expanding its capacity, develop a new generation of environmentally friendly rubber chemical products, and provide more high quality chemicals and services to contribute to the sustainable development of the global rubber industry.
