Kevin Wang named new general manager of Desma China

Fridingen, Germany – There will be a scheduled change in the management of DESMA China as of April 1, 2022: Mr. Kevin Wang (in Chinese: WANG Jun) will become the new General Manager. Mr. Haozhong Chen, who had taken over this position in August 2017, will return to the company headquarters in Germany after his term as agreed.

Kevin Wang is 40 years old and has over 17 years of experience in the rubber and plastics machinery industry. After holding several responsible positions in industry-renowned companies, he most recently worked as vice president sales at ENGEL’s Chinese subsidiary, WinTec. Mr. Wang has already started at DESMA on 01.12.2021 to get well acquainted with his future tasks. From 01.04.2022, he will take over the position as CEO at DESMA China.

Mr. Haozhong Chen, 39 years old, will be still director at DESMA China. As an active link, he will continue to support the management team from Germany, and also regularly on site in China. In addition, as Director Global Strategy and Change Management, he will take over the tasks in the areas of Business Development, Global Sourcing, Organizational Development and Corporate Culture in the DESMA Group.
