MARPG announces free spring lunch, scholarships and updates
Kulpsville, PA – The Mid-Atlantic Rubber and Plastics Group (MARPG) announces several events and opportunities for 2025. Here’s a preview of what’s ahead:

Scholarship Program – Scholarship applications are now open. This is a valuable opportunity for students, with a historical selection rate of nearly 50%. MARPG is also seeking donations from individuals and corporate partners to help fund these scholarships and support the next generation of talent in the industry. Fall Educational Symposium – Mark your calendars for October 22, 2025, when the Fall Educational Symposium returns to the Iacocca Center at Lehigh University. This full-day event, in collaboration with the Polymer Science and Engineering (PSE) Department, promises a dynamic and insightful experience. More details will be announced soon.
Upcoming Event: Learn About Piping Integrity & Optimal Performance – On May 30, 2025, at 12:00 noon, MARPG will host an online session titled “Learn About Piping Integrity & Optimal Performance: An Introduction to High Integrity Connectors & Metal Sealing Solutions.” Presenters Antonio Antunes and John Schroeder will provide a real-world introduction to high integrity connectors and metal-to-metal sealing solutions, featuring practical case studies. Scholarship Program Details – The MARPG Scholarship is officially open for applications. Members can sponsor one scholarship applicant, who can be any current or incoming college student.
