Maxam Tire opens solid tire plant in Vietnam
Danvers, MA – MAXAM Tire has taken a big leap forward in advancing factory automation and compound development with the opening of their fully owned and operated solid tire plant in Vietnam. MAXAM is committed to the development of manufacturing technology to provide their customers with world-class quality, production precision, and performance capabilities. At full capacity, the factory will double MAXAM’s current production capacity with increased efficiency and consistency by using the newly developed, proprietary liquid phase technology, EcoPoint3, on existing and future solid tire products.
After years of researching and developing high-performance rubber materials, MAXAM debuts the innovative EcoPoint3 compound at the new solid tire factory, bringing their industrial and construction products to a new level of global competitiveness. Compared to carbon black compounds and conventional dry-mixed compounds, EcoPoint3 provides superior distribution of ingredients. EcoPoint3 liquid phase technology not only improves a tire’s rolling resistance, but also enhances skid and wear resistance, producing a stronger, safer, and more energy-efficient tire that delivers a comfortable ride.
