Messe Düsseldorf extends international plastics and rubber portfolio to include trade fair in Central Asia
Chicago, IL – With Central Asia Plast World in Kazakhstan, a trade fair in Central Asia is now part of the K “Global Gate” portfolio. The event will be held from September 28 – 30, 2023 at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Organized for the 15th time local organizer Central Asia Trade Exhibitions, the trade fair will for the first time be a member of the Global Gate service brand of Messe Düsseldorf. The company, which organizes K – the world’s leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry – combines its worldwide business in this sector under this brand. Central Asia Plast World is the first platform of “Global Gate” in Central Asia.
Kazakhstan is the most economically developed country in Central Asia and its gross domestic product amounts to $ 193 billion. In the coming years, the country is aiming for greater industrialization and is currently experiencing high growth, for instance in the automotive industry. Imports of machinery and equipment as well as chemical products are booming. Therefore, plastics consumption is expected to increase by about 6% annually over the coming years.
