Milestar to launch the 2nd generation Patagonia M/T-02 in 32 sizes
Gardena, CA – MILESTAR announced the release of the second generation Patagonia M/T-02. Developed around years of feedback from real-world enthusiasts and professional rock crawling competitions, the new M/T-02 garners much of the original M/T design, yet integrates all new internal tire technologies with finite adjustments. It is engineered to be even stronger, tougher and more pliable during aggressive rock-crawling, yet harness the traits that made it one of the smoothest and quietest on-road performing M/T tires on the market.
The tread design is what makes the original Patagonia M/T the best at balancing on-road manners with off-road toughness. It now integrates cross-directional siping to improve tread block strength and resilience with a more stable footprint while reducing the risk of chunking. Redeveloped from the inside out, the much improved mud terrain integrates Milestar’s MILETECH® 3-Ply sidewall with added rigidity for maximum sidewall durability, yet still pliable and flexible for aired-down bite and off road grip. A newly formulated tread compound that includes cut and chip resistance, allows for longer tread life without sacrificing off road traction.
The Patagonia M/T-02 will be available in 32 sizes including popular OEM and high-flotation sizes, from 15” to 22” wheel diameters and up to F-Load Rating depending on the size. It is now offered in up to 42” overall diameter and 22” wheel diameters as well. The M/T-02 continues a tradition of high value, off-road enthusiast tires that performs as promised. It will launch with some key sizes in Q4 2021.
“The Patagonia M/T-02 is five years in the making. After a successful launch of the original M/T, we dived head first into making it even better!” stated Andrew Hoit, Tireco’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. We are truly committed to improving our product reliability and quality, and the M/T-02 is a continued step in key product advancement.”
