New dual drive generation for the gentle processing of rubber and silicone
Fulda, Germany – At the K 2022 UTH will be presenting innovative technologies which enable cost-effectiveness and sustainability
From 19 – 26 October UTH GmbH, based in Fulda, Germany, will be presenting its extended product range at the world’s leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. The product portfolio, which includes the proven roll-ex® gear pump and fine-meshing solutions, has been expanded by innovations like the resource-saving Two-Roll Plasticizer (TRP) for rework processing, the efficient Dual Drive concept and the continuous Polymer Dosing System.
The economical and sustainable solutions for the fine mesh staining of rubber and silicone compounds which you will find at the UTH booth are highly relevant in these times, as rubber processing presents enormous challenges: the demand is for high level of product quality (which means clean and purest rubber) as well as greater cost-effectiveness. Over the past 35 years these needs have been at the center of UTH’s thinking and during that time the company has become the benchmark in the international market for fine mesh straining solutions. The roll-ex® gear pump technology ensuring the particularly gentle extrusion of the material and fast, easy compound changes.
New technologies, such as UTH’s newly developed Dual Drive concept, help to handle the increasing requirements on the rubber and silicone industry. This system, based on a dual drive of the gear pump, is specially designed to process abrasive compounds. This innovation leads to a reduction in rotor and gear pump wear, an increase in the lifetime of the machines and therefore to a long-term increase in productivity. In addition, maintenance costs are reduced.
The pioneering UTH solutions are covering various fields of application: the modular roll-ex® system combined with the two-roll feeder (TRF), the screw feeder (SF), or the conical twin-screw feeder (DSE) allows the suitable configuration for all applications. The DSE component is, for example, part of the Polymer Dosing System which is also based on roll-ex® gear pump technology, allowing the feeding, plasticizing and exact dosing of polymers of higher viscosity in a continuous mixing process.
