The global rubber process oil market is estimated to grow majorly on account of rapid growth in automotive sector. As the global demand for automobiles continues to increase there is a rise in the need for Rubber Process Oils. In 2021, the worldwide revenue generated by the manufacturing industry reached approximately USD 2.80 trillion. This industry heavily depends on rubber products, like tires, gaskets, hoses and shock absorbers that are manufactured using Rubber Process Oils.
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company reported third quarter sales decreased 3.2% compared to prior year driven by the impact of commercial truck industry weakness and lower other-tire related sales (mostly the effect of lower third-party chemical sales). The currency impact increased sales by less than 1%. Revenue per tire increased 2%, excluding the impact of foreign exchange.
Bridgestone Americas (Bridgestone) announced its Nashville teammates and partners from across the country raised more than $2.44 million in 2023 for the United Way of Greater Nashville to support the organization’s network of local organizations providing essential services and programs across Middle Tennessee. For the quarter ended September 30, 2023 Apollo Tyres Ltd, on a consolidated level, registered a revenue of Rs 6,280 crores, an increase of 5% over the same period last fiscal. For the six months of the fiscal (April – September), the company reported a revenue of Rs 12,524 crores, an increase of 5% over the same period last fiscal. Positive revenue growth was reported, especially from Indian Operations, in the second quarter, and in the first half of the fiscal year.
