Pirelli announces recall of certain P Zero Race TLR bicycle tires

New York, NY – Pirelli announces that it is carrying out a voluntary recall in coordination with CPSC of certain bicycle tires in the P Zero Race TLR of the size 28-622 which were produced between the tenth week of 2023 and the 24th week of 2023.

The recall refers to certain problems of compatibility of the tire with some wheel rims where under some conditions during bicycle tire fitting or in service, including cases where tire inflation pressure may exceed the maximum pressure allowed by the rim manufacturer, bead unseating and consequently rapid air loss in the tires may occur resulting in potential loss of bicycle control and posing a fall hazard.

Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact Pirelli with any questions. Consumers are eligible to receive either a full refund or a replacement tire.
