RDAbbott is Cancarb’s new exclusive, full-service distributor in Mexico

Garden Grove, CA – RDAbbott has joined forces with Cancarb Limited as its exclusive distributor for Thermax® brand medium thermal carbon black in Mexico. This strategic agreement, effective June 25, 2023, aims to expand market presence and deliver exceptional technical support to customers. RDAbbott’s Mexico subsidiary, RDAbbott de México S. de R.L. de C.V., will facilitate and manage the distribution operations locally. RDAbbott has represented Cancarb products in the United States and Canada since 2017.

As Cancarb’s new full-service distributor in Mexico, RDAbbott will stock, distribute, and provide technical support for an extensive range of Thermax® grades, including N990, N990CG, N990REF, N990UP, N991, N991UP, N907, N908, and N908UP. These grades of medium thermal carbon black play a vital role in strengthening rubber compounds for tire manufacturing and serve as crucial elements for pigmentation, UV stabilization, and conductivity or insulation in various rubber products.

In partnership with RDAbbott, Cancarb has conducted several successful technical studies, including advancements in elastomer sealing performance for hydrogen fuel systems and architectural sealing improvements for enhanced cost efficiency, processability, and durability.

Cancarb’s decision to replace its previous distributor with RDAbbott, reflects the manufacturer’s commitment to capturing greater market share and providing excellent technical support and customer service.

RDAbbott is not only a distributor for Cancarb, but it also holds an exclusive agreement to distribute a range of carefully selected polymers from ARLANXEO across Mexico. Moreover, RDAbbott is the only authorized distributor of Dow SILASTIC™ silicones in Mexico.
