Singer Industrial expands Southeast presence with acquisition of Wilmington Rubber & Gasket
Dallas, TX — Singer Industrial has announced the acquisition of Wilmington Rubber & Gasket Co., Inc., a North Carolina-based distributor of industrial rubber products. The move marks another step in Singer’s strategic expansion across the Southeastern United States, bringing its total number of North Carolina locations to five.
Founded in 1985, Wilmington Rubber & Gasket has built a strong reputation for supplying a wide range of industrial products, including hoses, gaskets, packing, belting, plastics, and pumps. The company also offers custom hose assemblies, rubber and plastic fabrication, and full-service waterjet cutting. Its customer base spans several key industries, including construction, marine, nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, and utilities.

With this acquisition, Singer Industrial now operates more than 120 locations and employs over 1,400 people across North America. The company continues to pursue growth through strategic partnerships and acquisitions in key industrial markets.
