SKF to discuss sustainability at 2021 Swedish American chambers of commerce USA executive forum

Lansdale, PA — Executives from SKF will participate in the Swedish American Chambers of Commerce (SACC) USA Executive Forum, held in Washington, DC, on September 30, 2021. SKF is also a sponsor of the 2021 SACC USA Executive Forum.

Victoria Van Camp, Chief Technology Officer at SKF, will present SKF’s sustainability goals and its efforts in the U.S. market to both improve the sustainability of its own operations and better enable customers to reach their own environmental and safety goals. SKF has recently launched several new products and performance-based service offerings to help customers reduce waste and increase energy efficiency.

“The U.S. is the world’s largest economy and has been a vitally important market and manufacturing location for SKF since our inception,” said Van Camp. “Our customers, facilities and team members here are an integral component of our global business and sustainability strategies and I’m very much looking forward to collaborating with the exceptional group of fellow panelists and attendees at this year’s Forum.”

The annual SACC USA Executive Forum convenes senior executives, policymakers, and other thought leaders from both sides of the aisle in a day of exchanges and business development with Minister for Trade Anna Hallberg of Sweden and H.E. Karin Olofsdotter, Ambassador of Sweden to the USA.

“SKF is one of many Swedish companies leading by example, reducing emissions and waste in all operations to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. For Swedish companies, greening is not an afterthought but an integral part to all operations”, notes Karin Hammar, Executive Director of the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce USA, the second-largest European chamber in the U.S. with 20 offices and 2,500 members across the country.
