Specialty Silicone Product introduces Jen Briggs as their new customer account coordinator

Ballston Spa, NY – Specialty Silicone Product introduces Jen Briggs as their new Customer Account Coordinator. Jen joined the SSP team about three months ago and works closely with Nichole Hotaling-Koon, SSP’s Customer Account Operations Manager. Jen’s responsibilities cover both the laboratory and industrial sides of our business, and she works with both domestic and international customers.

“I like the environment and the work culture at SSP,” Jen says. “People here are happy and enjoy what they do. They’re also welcoming and have a lot of fun”.

In addition to order entry, Jen’s day-to-day responsibilities involve answering customer questions about order status and product availability. She also handles custom shipping requests along with the paperwork that’s required for international shipments. Whether it’s by phone or by email, you’ll probably talk to Jen at some point if you have a question about your order or SSP’s new products.

Jen is a graduate of Skidmore College and earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience before working in social services and mental health for over 10 years. Prior to joining SSP, she worked at the Franklin Community Center as the Program Coordinator/Student Services Coordinator for Project Lift, a program for elementary and middle school students. Previously, she was a Program Supervisor with RISE Housing and Support Services.

Jen is a native of the Capital Region who enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and kayaking. She also likes random adventures like skydiving, scuba diving, and volcano boarding. “I like to get out and explore,” she says, “and I enjoy doing fun things that people don’t always think to do”.
