Swan Chemical appoints Dave Abdallah as regional sales director

Durham, U.K. – Swan Chemical Inc. (SCI), the U.S. subsidiary of Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd., has appointed Dave Abdallah as regional sales director, southwest.
Abdallah joins SCI from Bolder Industries where he was vice president of sales and strategy. Prior to that, he served as vice president of sales and marketing at Delta-Energy Group, which started life as a joint venture with Bridgestone.
Abdallah brings with him considerable experience in the tire and rubber industry, having held numerous technical and management positions within Bridgestone Americas during his 21+ years with the organization. During that time, Abdallah was responsible for developing numerous patented technologies.
Commenting on the appointment, Ray Fahmy, president of SCI said: “We are very excited to have Dave join the SCI team. Dave brings a wealth of tire and rubber industry knowledge, a high growth segment of our business. We are confident Dave will make a great addition to the team as we continue to grow our North America business.”
Abdallah commented: “I started my career as a synthetic organic chemist, but things took a different direction over the years. It is clear that Thomas Swan shares my passion for chemistry and I am excited to join the team and share my experience beyond the tire and rubber industry.”
