Kumho Tire to increase capacity at Vietnam and Macon, Georgia facilities
Tire manufacturer Kumho is to invest $305 million into the expansion of its Vietnamese plant, with the aim of doubling its capacity by 2023, by which time it says output should be at least 9,300,000 tires per annum. The project will commence in the third quarter of this year and run until the early part of 2023, over which period an entire new facility will be created within the existing factory compound.
