TBC Corporation names Chris Young CTO

Palm Beach Gardens, FL – TBC Corporation announced the appointment of Chris Young as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Young will report directly to TBC President & CEO Don Byrd.

Young has more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, and IT strategy, with a strong background in application development, data analytics, cloud computing, cybersecurity and business agility.

Prior to joining TBC, Young most recently served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of FedEx Freight IT Solutions where he successfully modernized the company’s technology infrastructure. At FedEx Freight, he also implemented technology solutions that enhanced operational efficiencies and generated significant revenue growth. Young has also held leadership roles at Old Dominion Freight Line, Columbia Forest Products and United Guaranty Corporation.

Young earned several degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, including a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Management of Information Systems.
