Teknor Apex company welcomes Patricia Mishic O’Brien as chief sustainability officer

Pawtucket, RI – Teknor Apex has named Patricia Mishic O’Brien as Chief Sustainability Officer, effective March 3, 2025. In this role, O’Brien will be responsible for developing and overseeing Teknor Apex’s sustainability strategy and its alignment with the company’s long-term vision and business goals. Her appointment strengthens the company’s focus on contributing to a circular economy, incorporating sustainable practices across manufacturing sites, and helping customers meet their sustainability goals.

O’Brien is a seasoned global C-suite executive with extensive experience driving transformational, sustainable growth across diverse industries. In her previous role as Chief Commercial Officer at UBQ Materials, she was the responsible for sales, marketing, sales operations, and technical service and development. Prior to her tenure at UBQ, she held senior leadership roles at various companies in the materials science industry.

O’Brien holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Youngstown State University and an MBA from the University of Akron. She also completed executive management and entrepreneurial programs at Babson College and IMD Business School for Management and Leadership. She is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors Fellowship® and Women Corporate Directors.
