Thai Bridgestone receives awards from Toyota Daihatsu for CO2 reduction

Bangkok, Thailand – Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. led by Mr. Keiji Chuma, Managing Director received two honorary awards in 2023 from Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TDEM); “The Winner of 2023 Outstanding Performance Supplier for Early Achievement of 2030 Target in Environment (CO2 Reduction)” from the active collaboration on reducing carbon dioxide emission across the value chain contributing to carbon neutrality ahead TDEM’s goals and “Runner up 2023 Outstanding Performance Supplier in Quality Performance” in “2024 TDEM ANNUAL SUPPLIER CONFERENCE”. Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. has received these awards for two consecutive years, reinforcing strong partnership for sustainable growth with TDEM through value co-creation and premium product, services and solutions development with quality and standardization to serve needs of mobility society in Thailand.

The 2024 TDEM ANNUAL SUPPLIER CONFERENCE was organized by Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which operated as Toyota’s regional office, responsible for engineering, production, and related sections. The awards were presented to recognize suppliers in the country and across ASEAN based on their performances in 2023 in various aspects such as safety, environment, quality, delivery, and cost. On this occasion, the awards were presented by Mr. Noriaki Yamashita, President of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. at the Vayupak Hall, Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana.
