The Rubber Division’s next WORD Conversation to feature Kylie Knipp
Akron, OH – The Rubber Division, ACS, announces their next WOMEN OF OUR INDUSTRY conversation for March 26, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. ET with featured guest Kylie Knipp. This WORD Conversation begins with open networking for approximately 10 minutes followed by a conversation between our featured guest, Kylie Knipp, Senior Technical Account Manager at ACE Laboratories, and Heather Maimone, Training & Membership Director with Rubber Division, ACS.
This event will be held via Zoom and registration is free.
Kylie Knipp is a Senior Technical Account Manager at ACE Laboratories. She earned her Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Akron and has been involved in rubber compounding, mixing and testing for the last 12 years. She started her career in rubber custom mixing as the plant chemist at Portage Precision Polymers before transitioning to the rubber testing industry as a technical advisor, education coordinator and account manager. Kylie enjoys helping customers solve problems such as developing new rubber formulations, assisting in failure analysis projects or characterizing materials to prevent future failures. Kylie is also an active member of the Ohio Rubber Group, is a member of the Rubber Division ACS Education Committee and Young Professionals Committee, and participates in student outreach programs aimed at getting students of all grade levels interested in careers in the rubber industry.
