Titan releases larger sizes of Goodyear R14T tires for sprayers and combines

Des Moines, IA – Titan International Inc. (Titan) will be introducing larger sizes of the existing Goodyear R14T tire for use on sprayers and combines. The new Goodyear R14T product lines will be on site at the 2024 Farm Progress Show, August 27-29 in Boone, Iowa at the Titan booth.

The larger Goodyear R14T tire sizes provide several key benefits for sprayers and combines, including:

Lower rolling resistance — allowing significant savings on fuel, making it a cost-effective choice for farmers.
Improved roadability — as a result of the higher lug to void ratio in the tire center which helps reduce vibration and provides a more efficient and quieter ride for machine operators. This ratio also allows for less ground surface destruction in the field.
Better cleanout – when compared to other leading crossover tires due to additional space between shoulder lugs.
Enhanced stability and greater hillside traction — making it a reliable choice for challenging terrains, especially when maneuvering combines on hills during harvest season.
“When compared to an R4, the Goodyear R14T has 15-20% less rolling resistance. This is going to be a game changer for farmers when it comes to sprayer and combine applications.” said Mark Rankin, Director of Business Development at Titan International.

Titan International remains dedicated to growing their offerings to best serve the industry. In addition to acquiring the Carlstar Group earlier this year and the rollout of updated TGS2 tires, introducing larger sizes of the Goodyear R14T tire is the latest of many product investments.

This year’s Farm Progress attendees will have the opportunity to see the larger Goodyear R14T sizes in person on Cole the Cornstar’s Hagie Sprayer, pictured above, at the Titan booth, 24S.
