2022 International Elastomer Conference opens today in Knoxville, TN

Knoxville, TN – The 2022 International Elastomer Conference kicks off today with opening ceremonies at 9 AM and keynote speaker Judit E. Puskas from The Ohio State University addressing the conference in Ballroom B,C on the third floor of the Knoxville Convention Center. Puskas is the winner of the 2017 Charles Goodyear Medal, the most prestigious award given by the Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society. She is a co-inventor of the polymer coating on a coronary stent, implanted into over 10 million patients.

The convention center is open today from 8 AM – 5 PM for registration. The Expo doors open at 10:30 AM following opening ceremonies and the keynote address. A welcome reception for exhibitors follows at 5 PM – 7 PM to close out the day.
