DRM, LLC to showcase robotic automation for rubber manufacturing at the 2025 Global Polymer Summit
Columbia, TN – DRM, LLC announced that they will exhibit a live KUKA robotic automation cell at the 2025 Global Polymer Summit (GPS), September 8–11 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, in Cleveland, Ohio.
“Rubber manufacturing environments are tough—heat, tackiness, and dust push automation equipment to its limits,” said Barry Brian, Partner at DRM. “As a Platinum KUKA partner, we’re excited to showcase a live KUKA robotic cell in action. It shows how DRM and KUKA collaboratively solve real-world manufacturing problems, delivering robotics solutions that work in the challenging rubber manufacturing production environment.”
Attendees can meet with the DRM team and view the KUKA robotic cell at booth #1626. Visitors will be able to learn more about DRM’s approach to addressing rubber manufacturing automation challenges, including:
Robotic palletizing in rubber manufacturing for heavy, tacky, and irregular loads
Motion control and safety-rated architectures designed for high-uptime environments
Calender line automation improvements that stabilize thickness, reduce scrap, and improve repeatability
Vision and sensing systems for orientation, alignment, and slip detection
With UL 508A panel certification, TÜV-certified safety expertise, and a track record of strong OEM partnerships, DRM delivers floor-ready systems that span power to process while remaining vendor-agnostic to best serve client needs.
Presented by the International Elastomer Conference (IEC) and the International Tire Exposition and Conference (ITEC), GPS brings together the tire, rubber, and polymer industries for technical sessions, discussions, and an expo floor of leading suppliers.
