The Global Polymer Summit expo floor opens tomorrow in Cleveland

Cleveland, OH – The Global Polymer Summit’s first course, Rolling Resistance & Sustainability in Tires, led by Brendan Rodgers, starts today at 10:30 AM at the Hilton Hotel – Hope C, Level 3. The subject of the course is an up-to-date review of tire rolling resistance as a critical component in any tire sustainability improvement program. It will discuss materials technologies, the regulatory environment, and tire design and construction, and will therefore make a significant contribution and perspective to tire rolling resistance technology, project development and implementation.

Opening GPS on Tuesday will be Keynote Address speaker Michael Recchio, President & CEO, Zeon Chemicals, L.P. being held at 9:00 AM in Ballroom C, Ballroom Level in the Huntington Convention Center. In his keynote, Mr. Recchio will discuss Risk and Decision Making in the Rubber Industry, where he will explore the critical balance between risk and reward in industrial decision-making. His keynote will offer a practical framework for evaluating risk using data-driven strategies, including a retrospective look at investment, human resources, and safety decisions through the lens of a risk matrix.
