Thermoid announces new leadership team

Bellefontaine, OH – Thermoid has announced a new leadership team.

Mike Rainey joined HBD Industries, parent company of Thermoid, as president of the Rubber Products Group, responsible for leadership of all Thermoid plants and functional leadership. Rainey comes to HBD from Worthington Industries where he served as director of transformation. Additionally, he served in The United States Army. Rainey has an MBA from The Ohio State University and bachelor of science in business from the University of Louisville.

Eric Johnson has joined Thermoid as director of sales and marketing. Johnson previously served as senior sales manager for Avery Dennison. He also spent 12 years with Omnova Solutions, Inc., holding roles in marketing, sales and general management for their decorative laminates business. Johnson has an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and a bachelor of science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Nikki Wallace has been promoted to customer service manager for all three Thermoid manufacturing facilities in Bellfontaine, OH; Oneida, TN; and Chanute, KS. Wallace has been with Thermoid for two years and is additionally responsible for inside sales organization. Through her professional and educational experiences, Wallace has focused on developing and implementing successful cross functional teams, in addition to creating communication channels that deliver industry leading customer satisfaction.
