Rancho Cucamonga, CA – Dunlop Tires North America is expanding beyond its traditional automotive roots with new product offerings in mountain biking and pickleball while also broadening the availability of one of its flagship tire lines for SUV and crossover vehicle owners.
The company announced the initiatives as part of its “One Dunlop – Taking You Beyond” campaign, highlighting efforts to grow its presence in recreational and lifestyle markets in addition to its longstanding automotive business.
Among the announcements is the expansion of the Dunlop Blue Response A/S all-season tire to include sizes for sport utility vehicles and crossover utility vehicles. The tire is designed to provide long tread life, highway handling and year-round comfort, according to the company.
Dunlop also unveiled its first lineup of mountain bike tires, which the company said incorporates technology developed through championship-winning motocross and supercross racing programs. The new range features purpose-built front and rear tire designs intended to help riders optimize grip, speed and handling across varying trail conditions.
In addition, the company launched its first pickleball equipment line, entering one of the fastest-growing sports markets in North America. Dunlop said the new range includes products engineered to provide different levels of power, versatility and control for players of varying skill levels.
The company is promoting the pickleball launch with a limited-time discount on merchandise through mid-June.
Founded on innovations pioneered by John Boyd Dunlop in 1888, the brand is widely known for its role in the development of the pneumatic tire and its involvement in motorsports. Company officials said the latest product introductions reflect a broader strategy to apply Dunlop engineering and performance technologies to active lifestyle categories beyond automotive applications.
