Rubber industry veteran Larry Hern passes at 82
Akron, OH – Larry Hern died on May 18th at the age of 82. Hern worked in the rubber industry for more than 30 years, including DuPont from 1985 where he held roles of increasing responsibility until 1994 when he joined FLEXSYS (Monsanto) as Sales Director for Specialty Chemicals, U.S., Canada, & Mexico. In 2009, Hern joined Americas International as Sales Director until his retirement in 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held in Akron, OH for Larry’s close friends from the rubber industry, details are to be determined.
