Toyo Tires makes its 100 millionth tire in North America
White, GA – Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. (TNA) has reached a major manufacturing milestone with the production of 100 million tires at the company’s plant in White, Georgia. The facility has been producing tires for over 20 years, playing a vital role in supplying high-quality products, supporting growth in key markets, while also contributing to the local community through job creation, economic development and long-term investment.
This achievement reflects years of dedication and teamwork by the people who helped build the plant into a cornerstone of Toyo’s success. Since operations began, team members have played an important role in shaping a corporate culture grounded in quality, innovation, and performance. The achievement reflects the contributions of Toyo employees, including David Hughes, Steve Addison, and Glen Schulz, who helped produce Toyo’s first tire in 2005, and contributed to producing the company’s 100 millionth tire in June of this year. All continue to work at TNA today.
“Reaching 100 million tires is an extraordinary milestone, but the true achievement is the people behind it,” said Patrick Lenz, president and chief operating officer, Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. “Today we celebrate 100 million tires produced, a milestone that demonstrates what can be achieved when talented people work toward a shared goal. Our employees are the foundation of this success, and their dedication has positioned us as a leader in our industry. While we are proud of this achievement, we are even more excited about the future and what we will accomplish together next.”
