Apollo Tyres reports positive first quarter

Gurgaon, India – The Board of Directors of Apollo Tyres Ltd approved the company’s unaudited results for the 1st quarter of the financial year 2026-27.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026 Apollo Tyres Ltd, on a consolidated basis, reported a revenue of Rs 7398 crores. Indian Operations recorded steady revenue growth, complemented by a resilient performance from European Operations despite a challenging business environment.

Revenue from Operations for the quarter was up 13% to close at Rs 7398 crores, as against Rs 6561 crores
Operating profit reported was Rs 868 crores, similar to Q1 last fiscal
Net profit for the quarter closed at Rs 349 crores as against Rs 13 crores in the last fiscal.

Commenting on the company’s performance in the first quarter, Onkar Kanwar, Chairman, Apollo Tyres Ltd said, “We delivered healthy revenue growth during the quarter, supported by robust demand across market segments and sustained high-capacity utilisation across our manufacturing network. We continue to pursue profitable growth by strengthening execution, enhancing operational efficiency and staying closely aligned with customer requirements. While we remain mindful of the evolving macroeconomic environment, we are well-positioned to capitalise on growth opportunities while maintaining our emphasis on value creation.”

The company further announced the decision of its Chief Financial Officer, Gaurav Kumar, to resign from the company and from its Board of Directors, to pursue new personal and professional challenges. On his resignation, Gaurav Kumar said, “It has been terrific to be part of the incredible journey at Apollo Tyres thus far. I have learned, and hopefully contributed in equal measure, and now seek to explore alternative and new challenges. I wish Apollo Tyres the very best for the journey ahead and will always be part of the Apollo Tyres Family.”

Vice Chairman and MD, Neeraj Kanwar said, “Gaurav deserves kudos for the critical role he has played in the growth of Apollo Tyres, both in India and overseas, in the last twenty years. While we do regret losing him, we are conscious of his personal aspirations and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”

In recognition of his long stay and happy association with Apollo Tyres, Gaurav has committed to stay on beyond his notice period, if necessary, to ensure smooth transition. He will cease to be a Key Management Personnel (KMP) of the company from the date of his handing over of responsibilities.

The company is in the process of appointing a new CFO and shall inform the stock exchanges once the new CFO is appointed.
