RDAbbott celebrates the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Barberton, OH – R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott) and NovationSi, RDAbbott’s manufacturing subsidiary, have released a holiday music video set to “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” a classic Christmas song. Whether viewers are prepping orders or checking emails, the RDAbbott and NovationSi teams aim to spread some holiday cheer.

The video was filmed at the organizations’ Barberton Service Center in Barberton, Ohio—the Northeast hub for RDAbbott and headquarters for NovationSi. The 127,126 sq. ft. facility celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony in October and includes laboratories for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processing, engineering, compounding, formulation development, color matching, and physical properties testing.

The RDAbbott and NovationSi employees starring in the video include forklift operators, shipping and receiving personnel, and front-office and laboratory staff who make s’mores, enjoy baked goods, and exchange gifts. The video also gives homage to several Ohio favorites, such as the Cleveland Browns (Christmas apparel), Ohio State University (ornaments for tree), Malley’s Chocolates (box of Buckeyes) and Great Lakes Brewery.
