Rexair expanding Cadillac, MI facility

Cadillac, MI – Rexair is getting help from the Michigan Strategic Fund to expand their business and bring in more jobs.

The strategic fund is focused on business and economic development under the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. It is supporting two projects in Cadillac and Fenton, which are expected to create 68 new jobs and generate nearly $8 million in private investment.

Rexair is planning on expanding their facility in Cadillac, installing nine new molding machines. It will move manufacturing of certain products from China to the United States due to supply chain issues overseas.

“With Rexair’s new investment in new equipment, and the opportunity for them to add even more great jobs to our local economy, seeing this investment and seeing the incentive offered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the state of Michigan, it’s really wonderful,” said Cadillac City Manager Marcus Peccia.
