Ace Laboratories acquires thermal analysis specialist Quick Accurate Testing (QAT)

Ravenna, OH – ACE Laboratories has announced the acquisition of Quick Accurate Testing (QAT), a specialist laboratory focused on thermal analysis and rheology across a broad range of materials, from elastomers and polymers through to composites, ceramics, metals, proteins, fluids and coatings.

The acquisition adds new capabilities to ACE’s offering while significantly increasing capacity in disciplines the laboratory already serves and bringing additional expertise from a broader range of industries. New additions include thermomechanical analysis (TMA), simultaneous differential thermal analysis (SDT), which combines DSC and TGA measurements in a single test, and an AR G2 rheometer for advanced viscoelastic characterization. ACE’s DSC capacity increases fourfold, while TGA capacity doubles. Existing DMA capability is also strengthened.

The QAT equipment has been integrated into the ACE Laboratories facility in Ravenna, Ohio and is now available to support customer testing and development programs.
